Dr. Sahar Farahmand completed medical school and specialized in emergency medicine in Iran before immigrating to Canada. She then pursued a career in medical education after relocating to Vancouver and completed a Master’s of Science in Surgery, followed by two years of Family medicine residency in Saskatoon.
Currently, she works as a locum physician in BMMC, covering overflow appointments. She also provides care in urgent care settings on the North Shore.
Outside of work, Dr Farahmand enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and engaging in outdoor sports.
