About the Doctor
Kevin Sclater is a family doctor with specialist certification in palliative care. He grew up in Coquitlam, studied sciences at UBC, then graduated from medical school at the University of Calgary in 1990. Upon completion of an internship at Royal Columbian Hospital in 1991, he took over a thriving family practice in Port Coquitlam - eventually merging with BMMC. Dr. Sclater also works once a week as a palliative physician with a group of naturopathic doctors at Integrated Health Clinic (Cancer Care Centre) in White Rock. He is certified as a CAME (Civil Aviation Medical Examiner) and provides pilot license examinations at BMMC.
